A woman was left injured after an incident involving an electrical cable in Manchester city centre .
Emergency services were called to the scene on Great Ancoats Street at around 5pm on Friday (October 25).
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they sent two fire engines.
The incident involved an electrical cable that came from 'under the pavement', it is believed.
A female suffered 'slight bruising' but did not need to be taken to hospital.
A fire service spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.57pm to Great Ancoats Street.
"Two fire engines attended.
"It was an incident involving an electrical cable.
"It does not look like there was any actual firefighting taking place.
"It looks as though the cable was from under the pavement."
