Woman in Vic court over fatal CBD stabbing

Candice Harper has faced court charged with the murder of Ricky Rowlands. (AAP)

A woman has faced court over the fatal stabbing of a man in Melbourne.

Ricky Rowlands, 46, was found with serious injuries in Parkville on Saturday night, but later died in hospital.

Candice Harper, 34, faced Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday charged with his murder.

She's also accused of affray with unlawful violence over an incident in King Street in the city on Saturday night.

Harper is due to return to court in February.
