It can sometimes feel like there's a lot of pressure to have an extravagant gender reveal for all your friends and family when you're expecting a baby.
But a lot of couples have recently started having more intimate gender reveals, where just the two of them find out the sex of the baby at the same time.
One woman planned to have an intimate gender reveal for her husband, who didn't know the sex of the baby, when she did.
She couldn't wait to see her husband's reaction when he found out – but ended up in tears when it all went wrong.
Content creator Elyssa Joy Klaasen shared the moment on social media, writing: "Watch my husband save our intimate gender reveal."
In the video, uploaded to her TikTok account @elyssajoy_, the couple could be seen in a romantic setting, sitting on a blanket under a tree with champagne flutes and a big cake in front of them.
Elyssa could be heard counting down from three, and the two of them cut into the cake using the flutes so they could see which colour the filling inside was – pink for girl, blue for boy.
However, as Elyssa explained in the caption, she had "forgotten about colour theory" when she made the cake.
In the video, husband Jon looks visibly confused, and asks: "Green?", while Elyssa says: "It's not supposed to be green," before breaking down in tears.
But it's Jon's reaction to this that has melted people's hearts. Her husband puts down the glass, and calms her down.
He tells her to "take a breath", strokes her, wipes her tears and gives her a hug.
The husband then calmly says: "Here's the good news, I still don't know anything." He then comes up with a plan that saves the day.
Jon asks his wife to feed him a blueberry if it's a boy, and a strawberry if it's a girl.
To his surprise and visible glee, he finds out he's having a boy – and Elyssa jokingly says: "You didn't know when it was green!?"
People were blown away by the husband's sweet reaction, with one person commenting: "Aww he was so determined to make it work out for you two."
Another added: "Aweeeee omg he's amazing and I'm so happy you have him. He really know how to make you feel better."
A third commented: "This is so beautiful I want to cry. So pure."
