Woman in hospital after being hit by Audi near Cabot Circus

A woman has been taken to hospital after she was hit by a car near Cabot Circus.

Bond Street was cordoned off last night (Friday, January 7) following a collision between a pedestrian and a black Audi RS just before 10pm.

Police have launched an investigation, and witnesses are being urged to come forward.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We’re appealing for witnesses to come forward following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Bristol city centre last night.

"The incident involved a black Audi RS and occurred in Bond Street, near the cinema, shortly before 10pm.

"Paramedics attended and the female pedestrian was taken to hospital.

"CCTV enquiries are ongoing. We’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or may have dashcam footage relevant to our investigation."
