A woman was cut free from the wreck of a car after a nasty crash in Stretford last night.
Firefighters, police and ambulance crews responded to the incident at The Quadrant roundabout just after 10pm.
One car was involved in the crash on Great Stone Road.
Firefighters spend several hours working to free the woman from the vehicle before she was taken to hospital.
It is not believed the injuries were life-threatening.
Police said no arrests were made.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 10.06pm on Sunday, 14 February, two fire engines from Stretford and Moss Side, alongside the Technical Response Unit from Ashton-under-Lyne, were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Great Stone Road, Stretford.
"The collision involved one vehicle. One casualty was extracted from the vehicle by firefighters using specialist cutting equipment, lighting and a hearth kit.
"They were then transferred to the care of colleagues from the North West Ambulance Service.
"Fire crews were in attendance for an hour and 40 minutes."
A spokesperson for NWAS said: "We took a female patient to hospital after she was released from the vehicle.
"We attended the incident with an ambulance and rapid response vehicle."
Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called just after 10pm to report of a collision on Great Stone Road.
"No arrests were made."
