A woman in her 70s has died following a crash between a car and an ambulance.
Kent Police said the collision occurred at around 11.49am on November 23 at the exit road from The Brook multi-storey car park in Chatham, Kent.
The ambulance was on a call-out at the time of the smash.
The woman, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to a London hospital for treatment but has since died, the force said on Sunday.
Kent Police's serious collision investigation department are investigating the circumstances and would like to hear from anyone who has information.
"Investigators are particularly keen to obtain privately held CCTV and dash cam footage which captures any of the parties involved," a spokesman said.
Officers cordoned off The Brook, where three ambulances and two incident response units remained at the scene.
A car was damaged in the incident, with the crash causing debris to be spread across the road.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) spokesman said: “SECAmb can confirm that one of its ambulances was involved in a road traffic collision with a car in The Brook, Chatham shortly after 11.45am.
"The vehicle was en route to a nearby incident at the time of the collision.
“Ambulance crews attended the scene and the two occupants of the car were assessed and treated before being taken to hospital.
"A woman has been taken to King's College Hospital and a man, in a less serious condition, has been taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
"The ambulance crew were shaken but uninjured.”
