Last night dramatic images of white Mercedes car on its roof in a BP petrol station on the junction of Church Road and Granby Road in Cheadle Hulme were taken.

Damage was caused to a boundary wall at the petrol station, and a lamppost.

"The sole occupant of the vehicle - a woman in her 60s - was assessed at the scene by colleagues from NWAS and was found not to have suffered any injuries.
