A woman in her 30s has been found dead at a house in Bootle.
A "large police presence" and ambulance were called to Longfield Road on Wednesday evening at about 9pm.
Pictures from the scene showed emergency vehicles parked outside a house while officers worked.
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police confirmed a woman in her 30s had sadly died.
The force said it was a sudden, non-suspicious death.
They added the young woman's death had been referred to the coroner.
