An investigation is under way after a woman was left in a critical condition following a crash involving a car.
Police were called to Derby Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, at about 6pm on Friday, September 25, and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was shut but it has now re-opened.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Case Investigator Louise Melbourne, of Nottinghamshire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Our inquiries into this incident are well under way and we are working to establish the circumstances around how a woman was injured.
"We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident, have dashcam footage or have any information to call 101, quoting incident 704 of 25 September 2020."
