Woman in critical condition after rush hour collision on Whitehall Road

A 22-year-old woman is in a critical condition after .

The incident took place at around 5:20pm, during rush hour. The collision was on Whitehall Road, between the A6110 Outer Ring Road and Branch Road.

A blue Ford Kuga travelling away from Leeds city centre collided with the woman. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was spoken to by officers.

The woman remains in hospital this morning with serious injuries.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses to the incident or anyone who saw the vehicle or the pedestrian prior to the collision.

They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was driving in the area and has any relevant dashcam footage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit via 101 quoting reference 13190147912.
