Woman dies after Kings Highway crash

A woman has died following a car crash on Kings Highway on Sunday.

The woman was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in critical condition following the incident.

Police said they believed she lost control of her car and crashed 12 metres down an embankment.

A property owner discovered the crash and alerted emergency services about 12.30pm and NSW Police attended.

Emergency services were on the scene for about 90 minutes and traffic was flowing while they were there.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
