A woman who disappeared into the sea wearing a short black dress is still nowhere to be seen, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall police launched an investigation after the woman, believed to be in her 40s, entered the sea on Saturday and failed to resurface.
According to an update by the force on Monday, the woman still hasn't been found or identified, Cornwall Live reports.
Police were alerted to the woman missing by the coastguard, who reported her failing to emerge from the sea after entering the water at Perran Sands Beach, Perranporth, at about 1.35pm.
Officers are appealing for information.

A police spokesman said in an initial statement: "Description is a white female in her 40s or 50s, slim build with dark shoulder length hair, wearing a short black dress.
"She is believed to be local because she informed lifeguards she is a regular swimmer in these waters.
"Police are asking for any information which may assist with the identity or potentially the whereabouts of this female.

"One possible outcome is that she may have got out of the water unharmed and is unaware this has been reported.
"However, witnesses have described her diving under a wave and not coming back to the surface.
