Woman hysterical after eyebrow lamination fail - with some comparing her to TV character

Eyebrow lamination is a trend that has been around for quite a while now. It can make sparser brows look thicker, whilst giving already thick brows an extra bit of 'oomph'. The process involves a professional applying a cream to 'lift' the hairs, then the brow hairs are brushed upwards to pull them in a uniform vertical direction, and finally, a neutraliser is applied to help seal the brows into place. Sometimes brows are also tinted as part of this process, depending on your desired look.

One woman was left looking like a popular TV character after she received the treatment - but it didn't have the desired effect. Sarah Donnelly aka @sarahdonnelly5 admitted in the caption she was trying to be 'down with the kids', but wasn't keen on how her brows looked.

In the video, Sarah can be heard hysterically laughing as she reveals her eyebrows, which are laminated, and also much darker than her hair colour.

She says: "Oh my god, please. What have I done to myself? I don't know whether I wanna laugh or cry." She then looks at the camera with a horrified expression and the video ends.

Other beauty lovers were quick to sympathise with the woman, with many having been in that situation before.

One wrote: "The actual lamination is really nice but why on EARTH would they put black tint on a blonde-haired woman?!"

Another said: "Today's episode was sponsored by Angry Birds."

Someone likened her to a popular TV show character, commenting: "Were you trying to pull off Mr Bean?"

TikTokers complimented Sarah's brilliant sense of humour, with one writing: "I'm glad you have a great sense of humour", and another saying: "I don't like the laminated look, I don't get it but love that you can laugh at yourself bless you!"

Would you get your eyebrows laminated? Let us know in the comments.
