Woman, husband beaten up with rods in Bhopal over dispute

BHOPAL: A 37-year-old woman and her husband were allegedly assaulted with rods by a group of four people over a petty dispute in Ashoka Garden on Saturday afternoon.

On getting information from hospital authorities, Ashoka Garden police registered an attempt to murder case against four people and started investigation.

Investigating officer ASI Rajkumar Gautam said that the complainant Raja, 43, resides along with his family members in Ashoka Garden. He works as driver.

ASI Gautam said that Raja alleged in his complaint that on Saturday around 4.30 pm when called neighbour Munajam to take his goats to another place from in front of his home, as it creates dirt outside his door. A dispute took place between them and during the heated arguments accused neighbours Muajam, Asfaq and Danish joined Munajam, which lead to the brawl.
