A woman was hospitalised after a lip-filler removal procedure triggered a severe allergic reaction.
A TikToker called Ruby shared the traumatic experience on the video-sharing app - where it's already been viewed nearly 500,000 times.
The reaction was so bad that her upper lip ballooned out and her entire face became swollen, The Sun reports.
In the post, Ruby took pictures of her gigantic lips from various angles, which were accompanied with a caption reading: "I had my lip filler dissolved....and ended up in hospital."
Though she smiles and makes some silly faces in a couple of the shots, she said she's been put off of having the popular cosmetic treatment in the future.
TikTok users couldn't resist making some hilarious comparisons, with one saying she looked like Homer Simpson.

Another said: 'You went from looking like the platypus from Phineas and Ferb to the Chipmunks."
One jumped to the young woman's defence after people slammed her for using up " NHS resources".
They added: ''People saying this was a waste of nhs resources, everyone pays their taxes guys, allergic reactions can happen with ANYTHING.''
Other users agreed, saying people who need treatment for allergies should be cared for by the health service "regardless of what happened".

One commenter empathised with Ruby - saying she was advised to not dissolve her lips because of severe allergies.
She said the warning came after "a box dye nearly killed me back when I was 18".
The video served as a caution for some people considering the procedure. One said Ruby's case was an example of why they'll "never have cosmetic surgery or anything like this" because it's "too risky for me".
It comes days after a woman claimed she was left with giant "sausage lips" that swelled 20 times their normal size after suffering a horror allergic reaction.

Daniella Bolton went to get her lip filler dissolved last month as they had been in for a while and following the procedure she was told by the beautician that her swelling would soon subside.
However, after she left they started getting bigger by the minute.
By the time she arrived home her lips had completely ballooned, prompting the panicked 24-year-old to dash to the doctors, where she was given steroid tablets that quickly reduced the swelling.
