A woman named Maddy Jewell (@maddymjewell) showed off her yellow shirt dress in one clip while she was on her honeymoon in the Maldives.
Despite looking lovely in the first clip, she didn’t quite appear camera-ready in the second piece of footage that was shot by her new husband. As he cycled behind Maddy, she can be seen in front, on her bike, with the wind not doing her any favours as the air inflates her dress.
For the TikTok caption, Maddy joked: “This one’s headed back to rent the runway” and detailed in the comments section how her husband “actually felt so bad for videoing it but he could not stop laughing lmao.”
It seems that a LOT of people also found the footage equally entertaining because since posting her outfit fail, the clip has been viewed a staggering 20.6M times, with over 5.8M likes. It has also left people in stitches in the comments and has led to some comparisons too.
One person wrote: “AHHHHHHHAHAHAHA IM LOSING MY MIND IT LOOKS LIKE A BOUNCY HOUSE.”
“Violet from Willy Wonka vibes,” another person said, a character in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory who famously transformed into a massive blueberry.
Someone else added: “It’s giving the man in the yellow hat from Curious George vibes.”
“I’m a nurse and all I see is an isolation gown,” a fourth person commented.
Another comment read: “NOT THE BIG BIRD MICHELIN MAN COMBO PACK.”
In a follow-up, Maddy appeared to take all the attention from her funny video in good jest as she wrote in text on her video: “When you’ve spent years training him to take outfit pics and you go viral for looking like the Michelin man on a bike.”
So next time you’re going for a cycle, maybe think twice about your outfit choice or you could end up look like “the Michelin man on a bike.”
(We still think she looks pretty fab, though).
