A young woman was ‘gutted’ after her car was vandalised with obscene graffiti just minutes after she had returned home from university.
The young woman, who has asked to remain anonymous, said the vandalism took place at around 6pm yesterday outside her home on Knowsley Road in St Helens.
She told the ECHO : “It happened yesterday evening between 6.00pm and 6.20pm. I had only been home from uni for a couple of minutes and then I came out to nip the shop and it was there.”

Within the 20 minute timeframe, a large inappropriate image had been sprayed onto the young woman's black Toyota Ago with white paint.
The trainee teacher said at first she was ‘gutted’ by the graffiti as she has only had her car for around three months and passed her driving test in December.
She added: “I worked so hard to pay for it and didn’t know if it was a new spray job.”
Taking to Facebook to give the 'child', who she claims to have identified through a neighbour's CCTV footage, ‘the chance to apologise’, the woman posted an image of her car's new unwanted artwork.

She said: “Between the time of 6.00pm and 6.20pm someone has vandalised my new car that I’ve worked hard to pay for.
“Next door neighbours have you on CCTV but I’m giving you a lucky chance to come clean it up otherwise further action will be taken.
“It’s a young lad between the age of 12/13. Bit of a bigger build. We know your name and the school you attend as it’s the same as my brother.”
Some Facebook users attempted to lighten the situation by posting edited versions of the image, with one local turning the mark into a character off Sesame Street.
The woman said her intention from the post was to 'allow the child to learn from his mistakes'.
The woman later updated the post after some locals advised her to go straight to the police, which she said she had already done and they encouraged her to post about the incident on Facebook.
She added: “I’ve seen a few comments disagreeing with the fact I posted this on here.
"I thought I’d be a nice person and at least give him the chance to apologise and correct his wrong doing.
“Maybe that way in the slight chance he did come to clean it or at least apologise he’s learnt a small lesson of respect for other things.”
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed CCTV enquiries have been carried out and anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or @CrimestoppersUK on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 22000025085.
