* UPDATE: Police confirmed on Wednesday, December 11 that Rachel had been found safe and well *
A woman is at the centre of an urgent police missing person appeal after vanishing after leaving a Liverpool hotel.
Police today turned to the public as efforts to trace Rachel Buckley, 45, have so far drawn a blank more than a month after she went missing.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said she was "last seen at the Malmaison Hotel, Liverpoo l" in William Jessop Way on the waterfront around 1pm on Sunday, December 8.
When last seen the Leeds resident was wearing what police described as "a beige and tan coloured fur coat, dark leggings and brown ankle boots".
A spokesman added: "She was also carrying a square handbag in pale tan. It is also possible she has a navy blue gym bag in her possession."
Rachel is white, 5ft 2in, of slim build, with shoulder-length brown hair, a neutral accent and clear complexion.
She is known to visit both Liverpool and Harrogate.
Anyone who sees Rachel should call 101 and ask for Merseyside Police or the Missing Person Unit.
