Woman ghosts date after what he ordered to drink at a restaurant saying it was a 'turn off'

If you've ever sat at home watching First Dates and cringed at the car-crash of two people with no chemistry being forced to spend an evening together, then the world has once again proven that life imitates art.

In a bizarre date story, three glasses of Coca Cola was all it took for one woman to quickly realise that wedding bells were not in her future with this man.

Going by the reddit username sparer00m, this woman told people that when her date ordered a glass of Coca Cola with his meal, after she ordered water, she decided to ghost to him completely afterwards.

"Through the evening, he drank three or four full sized glasses of coke. I ghosted [him] afterwards. I don't know, it's just gross. Like grow up," she wrote.

True to form, the internet responded by slamming this woman for acting on such petty reasons.

One Reddit user sarcastically responded: "Women love silently becoming un-attracted to you because you put a sock and shoe on one foot before moving onto the other foot."

"Can't even drink a Dr Pepper in peace anymore," another user said.

Other users attempted to understand the reasoning behind it, commenting: "I don't approve of ghosting but they're right. I had soda at the movies the other day because AMC gave it to me for free, and I woke up the next day hungover....if you can't love yourself..."

More people even came to the woman's defence, denouncing ordering Coke as a child's drink while on a date, and agreeing that it's a potential red flag.

One user added: "No I agree. You a grown man and only want juice? Bye."

"4 glasses is a lot idk i don’t blame her," another added.
