It's no secret that dating can be tricky. After all, you can spend weeks or even months dating someone you think is Mr or Mrs Right, only for them to ghost you the very next day as if none of it ever happened. We've all been there.
And, that's exactly what happened to one woman back in 2017, when the guy she was dating fell of the face of the Earth, because apparently that's completely normal etiquette in modern dating.
Anyway, fast forward four years, and the man who ghosted Megan Finola 'liked' her on dating app Hinge, giving her the perfect opportunity for some sweet, sweet revenge. As they say, it is a dish which is best served cold.
But, instead of giving her former flame a good old scolding, like so many of us would be tempted to do Megan decided to play a little trick on him by telling him she has a four year old child she thinks he ought to meet.
"A boy that ghosted me in 2017 just liked me on Hinge," she tweeted, adding, "so I matched and told him I have a four year old I think he should meet." It doesn't get much more savage than that.
The tweet, which has been liked almost 20,000 times, was inundated with comments from people suggesting she 'borrow' a child from a friend to take the joke to the next level. Although, we wouldn't advise you try that at home.
"I'd say buddy is sh**ing bricks and deactivating all his accounts right now," one Twitter user responded, while another suggested: "Use face app to merge your face with his and send him your baby pics!"
Revenge really is sweet.
