Woman gets Adidas logo tanned on her leg during hot weather

We've all seen dodgy tan lines - usually after a long day lying on the beach in your swimming costume.

But one woman has taken the concept to a new level after being branded with one of the most recognisable sportswear logos in the world.

Danielle Viagus-Foster was sat in Adidas leggings waiting for her friends to finish a driving lesson.

She was out in the sizzling heat for almost an hour but didn't realise what the effect the sun was having until she got home.

Back in her house, the 21-year-old took off her leggings and saw the German brand's name name had been negatively burnt onto her skin.

"It was when I went to put on my bikini that I saw my leg," Danielle told Mirror Online .

"I thought 'Oh my god'. I was in fits of laughter."

The woman, from Poole, shared the picture online and even got in touch with Adidas to ask if they would hire her as an on-brand model.

Sadly the company turned down her request, complementing her on a "nice tan" before admitting it only took sponsorship bids from Australia and Germany.

According to Bupa, leggings are typically a very good item of clothing to stave off sunburn.

How to get rid of sunburn fast

"Long pants or leggings cover more skin than shorts, and a broad brim hat provides more protection than a baseball cap," the private health firm explained.

It seems like Bupa hadn't reckoned either with the recent ferocity of Britain's sun.

Adidas has been contacted for comment.
