Woman fumes after boss complains her 'backside is showing' in workplace outfit

A woman was left stunned after her boss branded her outfit 'inappropriate' for the workplace outfit and claimed it showed too much of her 'backside'. Gisells Thanh, a healthcare employee, was told that her attire was unsuitable by the member of management.

Posting about the shocking ordeal to TikTok, she explained that the supervisor had put in a complaint about her outfit, despite the fact she had worn the same clothing several times in the past with no issue. Her video has since been viewed over 2000 times, with commenters sharing their own experiences of being disciplined in work over their attire, the Mirror reports.

In the clip, Giselle wrote: "My boss called me into her office saying a manager made a complaint about my work attire. Apparently, my backside is showing too much, and it's inappropriate."

Sharing clarification on the outfit's unexpected remark, Giselle added: "Leggings are allowed at my job, but I was asked to change my leggings today."

Standing up, the TikToker shared off the outfit and showed viewers what her boss classed as "inappropriate" for work, which sparked some reactions in the comment section.

Giselle's outfit simply consisted of a simple pair of black trouser-like leggings, which she paired alongside a simple cropped blue sweater.

Despite the boss' remarks, the sweater covered her midriff and the leggings showed no aspects of being see-through or inappropriate for a working environment. Taking to the comments, users put the worried worker's mind at rest - with one person even admitting that they've been in a similar situation previously.

Putting her worried thoughts at ease, one user wrote: "This happened to me too at my job. Manager claimed that me and my friend got a lot of 'attention' from men so unfair."

"Want a new job?" Another joked.
