A woman with neck injuries was found in an alleyway in the Northern Quarter after 'running from a vehicle'.
Officers discovered the woman in an alley near Little Lever Street just after midnight today (Tuesday).
They attended at the scene after being called to a report of a concern for safety of a woman.
The report came after she was spotted running from a vehicle on King Street West, police said.

The woman was taken to hospital from the scene in Manchester city centre.
She remains there in a stable condition.
Police said enquiries are ongoing into how she received her injuries.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Shortly after midnight today (29 September 2020), officers were called to a report of a concern for safety of a woman after a woman ran from a vehicle on King Street West.
"Officers attended the scene and found a woman in an alleyway near Little Lever Street with neck injuries.
"She was taken to hospital where she remains in stable condition.
"Enquiries are on-going into how the woman received her injuries."
