Homicide police have arrested a man after the death of a woman whose body was found in an inner-Melbourne apartment complex on Saturday night.
The body of the 63-year-old woman was found in the South Yarra block about 9:00pm on Saturday.
Victoria Police said the death was being treated as suspicious.
Homicide detectives arrested the 41-year-old South Yarra man on Sunday.
He was assisting investigators with their inquiries, a police spokeswoman said.
At least a dozen officers and SES workers were at the scene on Saturday night.
Crime scene tape marked the entrance of the 1a Surrey Road complex into Sunday.
