A Sydney woman who hit and killed a man with her car and told a triple-zero operator it was a "terrible accident" has been found guilty of murder.

Jackline Sabana Musa hit 31-year-old Payman Thagipur with her Toyota Kluger in the car park of his Wentworth Point apartment block after he answered the door in his underwear with another woman at his home on June 27, 2020.

The 47-year-old was found guilty on Monday following a Supreme Court trial.

"I just hit him and he's dead," Musa said in a triple-zero phone call played to the jury.

She showed up at his home after he ignored her attempts to contact him by phone, telling responding police she was "hurt inside as a woman" when her "boyfriend" stopped responding.
