Woman found dead with ‘self-inflicted’ knife injuries in west London park

A woman has been found dead in a west London park with what are believed to be self-inflicted stab wounds.

Police were called to the Bourne Terrace area, near Royal Oak station, at 7.20am on Sunday following reports of a woman with knife injuries.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives currently believe her injuries may have been self-inflicted.

Her death is not currently being treated as suspicious. Enquiries continue.
