Woman found dead in 'neglect manslaughter' probe named as police search for her family

A woman at the centre of a 'neglect manslaughter' case has been named as Diane Austin.

Police released the name of the 42-year-old today (Tuesday) in an appeal to trace her family.

Diane was found dead at her home on Arley Grove, in the Adswood area of Stockport, on March 22.

Three people - a man aged 63, a woman aged 56, and a man aged 28 - were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter through gross negligence after her death.

Police said they have since been released under investigation.

Detectives are now trying to track down Diane's family.

She is believed to have links to Northern Ireland, they said.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace the family of a woman from Stockport.
