A woman was found dead in a Kilmarnock flat this week.
Police attended a home on Bailliehill Place in the Bonnyton area of the town on Wednesday afternoon after receiving reports of a death.
A 44-year-old woman was pronounced dead after they entered the premises.
Police have confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Officers responded to reports of a concern for person in Bailliehill Place, Kilmarnock around 1.05pm on Wednesday, November 27.
“A 44-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
