Woman found dead in BMW parked at side of road in Leeds

Police have launched an appeal after a woman was found dead in a car on the side of the road in Leeds.

Officers were called to Thorner Lane in Bramham at 11.46am on Monday (June 24) by the ambulance service.

A woman had been found in a grey BMW X5 parked at the side of the road.

A scene and road closure was put in place and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who has seen the vehicle at any point between 10pm last night and 6.15am this morning (June 24).

Anyone with information is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101 quoting log 653 of June 24.
