A WOMAN has been found dead at an industrial estate in Glasgow after a late-night major emergency response.
Emergency services were called to the Hillington Road area of Glasgow at around 10.35pm on Friday following a report of the death of a woman.
Police confirmed that a woman was found dead at the scene following a major emergency response.
A spokesperson for the force said the death is not being treated as suspicious and that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
An eyewitness said police were still present near the road's Shell garage at around 6am on Saturday, alongside members from Scottish Fire and Rescue Services and the Scottish Ambulance Service, according to The Glasgow Times.
It is understood that the emergency crews had left the area by 9am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.35pm on Friday, 31 July, 2026, officers received a report of the death of a woman in the Hillington Road area of Glasgow.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
