Woman forced to isolate with Tinder date after they both test positive for Covid

A woman was forced to isolate with a man she'd just met on Tinder after the pair both tested positive for Covid when they were together.

Taking to TikTok, Sarah, @poppymoore777, said that she had just met a match from online dating when the pair found out they were infected so they isolated at his place.

Despite barely knowing each other, they faced seven days seeing no one but each other - so Sarah documented her time with the man and shared it with her fans, as the Daily Star reports.

Soon viewers were branding it an 'omicron rom-com', as the pair watched Geordie Shore, ordered food, played Mario Kart, and lived in domestic bliss for days.

The man ordered food and cooked for Sarah, and many said it was very romantic (@poppymoore777/TikTok)

What would you have done in that scenario? Let us know in the comments...

In a series of videos, she shows a snap of her positive Covid test and clips of empty beer crates and takeaway bags.

TikTok users have become hooked on the non-traditional date, with the series of clips racking up three million views.

But, someone asked why Sarah felt obliged to stay with her date despite her positive test.

Sarah explained: “Due to personal reasons (isolating by myself) wasn’t possible.”

Stunned by the modern-day romance, many people fled to the comments to share their thoughts on the unconventional dating method.

Another user added: "This is a new age rom-com."

Whilst a third person voiced: "I mean I would rather this than alone."

Someone else jested: "Omicron rom-com?"

As another person remarked: "Relationship seven-day free trial."
