We've all had our fair share of dating horrors, although there are few of us who can say we've ever had a date bring four of friends along for the ride.
You're probably thinking, 'surely no one would do that,' but that's exactly what happened to one TikTok influencer, but the disaster had an unlikely ending.
TikToker Paige Bryan, who posts from the handle @paigebryanofficial, addressed her followers by telling them: "Welcome to this episode of dating sucks, and I hate it here."
In the clip, Paige revealed she was 28 and just re-entering the world of dating when she went on a night out with her girls, where she met someone who she had an instant connection with.

"We didn't have to say a word, we just mystically started floating through the crowd into each other's arms. The song ends, I put in my number. We don't need words because we have passion," she explained. "We end up making plans to go to dinner."
The following weekend, Paige arrived at the restaurant where she and her date had planned to meet. She gave the hostess her date's reservation name and she started walking to their table, where the TikToker realised there was six seats and place settings at the table.
"He arrives about 10 minutes later and I notice he walks in the restaurant at the exact same time as another group of beautiful male specimens. I wave him down and I notice they all, yes all, start walking towards me," she added.
"They all start to pull out a chair and take a seat, while he hugs me and tells me I look great. But I'm thinking so we're not gonna address the fact that you brought Jim, James, Paul, and Tyrone to our date."
Paige continued: "So then I end up asking, 'to what do I order the discomfort of ALL your company,' to which he responds, 'Oh, you don't mind do you?' Yes. Yes I do mind, and he's like, 'my bad, I should have asked first.'
"Anyway, SHOCKER, he ended up being a horrible date. I mean we are talking zero personality, like in the negative of personalities."
But, despite the night being a complete and utter disaster between Paige and her date, it did take an unlikely turn when she ended up getting to know his friend.
"So needless to say I never saw him again but did I 100 percent start dating his friend who was a million times more interesting than him?" she added. "Yes, yes I did."
We do love a happy ending.
