Woman finds out boyfriend is cheating after awkward live photo blunder

A woman has revealed how she learned her man was cheating, thanks to a photo he sent her while claiming he 'missed' her.

TikTok influencer Serena Kerrigan took to the app to share a picture she was sent from the man she has been dating and it's true what they say; a picture really can tell a thousand words.

At first, the photograph of a hotel bed with a cuddly toy on the pillows looked perfectly innocent, until Serena decided to click on the live version of the picture. It was then that she realised her man was not alone, and he was not doing a very good job of hiding it.

As soon as the live version of the picture is played, she could see a woman leaping onto the bed. Uh-oh, those pesky iPhones catching people out again.

Serena shared the clip, writing: "When the man you're dating says he misses you but then you click the live photo," alongside the skull and crossbones emoji, which pretty much sums it up.

"My jaw dropped faster than she did," one TikTok user commented, while another added: "You best believe I'm going through every pic in my phone right now."

Meanwhile, others questioned whether it was true or just a joke, and Serena confirmed in the comments section that sadly it is '100 per cent' true.

Oh dear.

It's fair to say that revelations like this are the reason that many people have trust issues, and several TikTok users commented with their own technological detective methods to catch out cheating partners.

"If you save a photo to your camera roll you can see the location where it was taken," one person commented.

While another added: "Have your ringer up when you play the live photo because you can also hear the audio."

Thanks for having our backs, Apple.
