Woman finds her ex-husband’s love letter to the stripper he cheated with. Says, ‘let’s read it together, shall we?’

A woman who goes by Jessie on TikTok said she found a love letter her ex-husband wrote to a stripper he allegedly cheated on her with, and she read it out loud in a video posted to her account @jessiejayspence. She told viewers to “grab your wine” and said, “Let’s read it together, shall we?” before starting to read the letter aloud.

Jessie said in her video that her ex-husband, who she said was an attorney, wrote the letter about a work trip to West Texas in February 2024. According to the letter, as Jessie read it, he had been asked to defend a distribution company in a premises liability case.

In the letter, he wrote that he was “still arrogant” at the time and “only wanted to take cases that had high value, (multimillion results, with high value payout).” Jessie interjected while reading, sarcastically asking, “Where’s the payout? Never saw a payout.”

Letter describes a visit to a strip club during the work trip

According to the letter, he wrote that a coworker told him to “just get out of here” before the trip, so he flew into what he called “bumf— Texas,” describing it as “hot, humid, traffic.” He wrote that he was “already pi—d” but that the trip was “something new” for him.

He wrote in the letter that he felt “sad, lost, confused” after arriving in Texas that night. Jessie asked in the video, “And what does a man do in this situation? Go to a strip club for validation.” She listed other options he could have chosen instead, including “therapy,” “counseling,” and “reconnecting with nature,” before saying he chose to go to a strip club.

The letter, as read by Jessie, said a dancer named Mia spoke to him and told him about the area before the stripper he allegedly had an affair with “showed up.” He wrote, according to Jessie’s reading, “The only way I can describe what I saw was like in La La Land. In the piano solo, spotlight just on you.” Jessie compared the description to actor Ryan Gosling and joked that “Nicholas Sparks wants his writing back.” Jessie ended the first video by asking viewers to like the post for a second part of the story.

In a follow-up video, Jessie responded to a comment from a user called @Deeeznoots, who wrote, “Sounds like you were a wife that said my tummy hurts one too many times. Don’t be mad now.” Jessie replied in the video, “Oh, I’m not mad. Your mom’s tummy didn’t hurt last night.”

Jessie said in the second video that her comments were not directed at the strippers involved, whom she referred to as “Midnight Ballerinas.” She said, “I love you queens. This has nothing to do with you and everything to do with that sh—y a– f—tard man.”

She also addressed comments asking where in Texas the alleged incident took place. Without naming the city directly, Jessie said the location “rhymes with Smarlingan,” which appeared to point to Harlingen, Texas. Commenters on the first video, including a user named Kass, referenced Harlingen directly, with one writing, “Fr thought she was going to sad Dallas or something not f—ing Harlingen in the valley.”

Jessie then continued reading the letter, repeating the “La La Land” description before reading further. According to Jessie’s reading, he wrote in the letter, “All I could see is you and everything else was dark. I was truly lost for words and asked Mia to talk to you.”

He wrote in the letter, as read by Jessie, “Then once you gave me a chance, I reverted to my debaggery.” Jessie reacted to the word by saying, “Somebody call Merriam-Webster. We have a new word for you: debaggery.”

Jessie read the final lines of the letter, in which he wrote, “But I liked you a lot, too much, and I wasn’t sure what it was. Then here we are.” Jessie said that after finding the letter, she “walked in on him passed out drunk.”

Jessie closed the second video by confirming to viewers, “That is the love letter that my ex-husband wrote to the stripper that he cheated on me with.” She then asked her audience, “Should I do a full storytime? There’s a lot more.”

The videos drew a large response in the comments section, with users asking Jessie to share more details about the alleged affair. One commenter wrote, “I’m literally BEGGING for a full story time.” Another user asked, “Can I sue him for extreme secondhand embarrassment and emotional damages?”
