Woman films friend 'drinking spilled drink' on the floor of Dublin pub on May Bank Holiday Sunday and posts it on Twitter in hilarious video

With the busy Bank Holiday weekend coming to an end, the capital was thriving on Sunday night.

Pubs were packed as people enjoyed the glorious summer weather, safe in the knowledge that they had a longer weekend than usual.

There was plenty of tourists in town too and one girl from Scotland decided to head to Dublin for the weekend that's in it.

Scottish girl, Stephanie Wilkie and her friend Jade visited several of the city's finest pubs in their short stay.

In one of the busy pubs, Jade spilled a drink on the floor and decided that Dublin was "too expensive to waste spilled drinks", so she jokingly took her straw and headed for the ground.

The hilarious clip had Stephanie in stitches who said that she "genuinely [didn’t] remember the name of the pub, we have been in so many!"

It was a funny way to round off the trip as the pair head home on Monday.
