The 81-year-old said that she was approached by two men, who thanks to them helped her feel more relaxed during the stressful incident.
The men, who were working on-site, rang an ambulance, bandaged her head and hands, and made sure she was completely responsive.
Jean reached out to the ECHO to voice how thankful she is after the incident.
She said: "I parked at the NCP Car Park on London Street in Southport on Friday 4th February 2022 and I tripped and injured myself badly. I was really hurt with a concussion, both hands were deeply cut and I was in a state of shock obviously. My right eye bruised badly also.
"The men working on-site, Liam Howard and Steven Farrington, came to my aid straight away, sat me down in their office and made sure I was seen to, made me feel relaxed.
"They rang the ambulance and as we waited Liam bandaged my head to stop the pressure of blood etc, bandages on both hands and made sure I was 100% responding as I was scared I was going to collapse. Steven also spoke to me making sure I kept talking throughout until the paramedics arrived.
"I am really grateful because without them there I think I would have passed out and scared I wouldn’t have woken up so I really want them to be mentioned because they were absolutely wonderful, two amazing men who are a credit to the business and the community.
"I’m back home now from hospital with my husband looking after me, everything ok again thanks to Liam and Steven."
