A Liverpool woman has hailed a 'miracle cure' that saved her from looking like the 'Elephant Woman'.
Jade McGuinness, from Norris Green was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour which she described as "really scary".
The 31-year-old was originally told a lump in her neck was a swollen lymph node, but after five scans, she was finally diagnosed with lymphoedema.

The lump was successfully removed, but this led to further complications - a swelling of the face that she was set to live with for the rest of her life.
She said: "The whole process was really scary, from when I first had the tumour diagnosis to having lymphoedema.
"When they removed the tumour I bought the doctor a bevvy and was so happy that the operation was a success however I was devastated to find out that I’d have a swollen face for the rest of my life. I looked like The Elephant Woman."
Jade didn't know where to turn after her life-changing diagnosis until a chance meeting in a Wirral clinic where she met scientist Kirsty Smith who told her about a 'ground-breaking new solution'.
Kirsty was in the process of launching Liquid Lipo International, a solution for fat and swelling reduction, and after launching in 2020, Jade was one of the first ever clients.
The Liquid Lipo gel is a non needle, non surgical treatment and works by wrapping the gel over the area of fat or swelling then entering the skin and binding fat cells to shrink the fat.

After being introduced to the new treatment from Kirsty, Jade bought a neck strap and began to use thermogenesis gel on her neck and then the new Hydra Oz cream on her face.
With 'incredible results' after just one hour, Jade broke down and cried as she had found a ‘miracle’ treatment after being told by the NHS there would be no cure or long term solution.
She added: "When I saw the instant results I was completely overwhelmed! I thought I’d have to deal with my swollen face for the rest of my life but this was my saviour.

"People forget that the way you look and feel has a major impact on your mental health and there are so many people out there who don’t feel comfortable in their skin. The Liquid Lipo treatments helped me feel like me again."
Amazed with the results, Jade decided to take training from Kirsty and set up Liquid Lipo Liverpool in October this year which has seen 'fantastic results' with both weight loss and loose skin after weight loss.
Jade, who is now on a mission to help others, is about to open the first Liquid Lipo Liverpool clinic to 'help transform as many lives as possible' after recently being selected to represent the global brand at Bolton Fashion Week.
The 31-year-old said: "I can’t state enough how these products have changed my life and now I want to help as many people as possible.

"I had been through such an ordeal and then had to deal with the fact I’d have a swollen face for the rest of my life but meeting Kirsty and discovering Liquid Lipo saved me.
"Now I want to help anyone who is suffering from lymphoedema or weight issues."
