Woman fatally shot in Bronzeville: police

A woman was fatally shot Tuesday in Bronzeville on the South Side.

About 6:15 a.m., the 21-year-old was found in an alley with one gunshot wound to her head, Chicago police said. A witness told police they heard a gun shot and found the woman.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The woman has not yet been identified.
