A woman accused of pinning a police officer to a wall with a car and running over another officer's leg has faced court.

Police were carrying out a welfare check on 27-year-old Courtney Pollard on Tuesday when she allegedly drove a car at them.

She faced Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, charged with 16 offences including reckless conduct endangering life by driving at high speed.

Court documents reveal she's accused of reaching speeds above 170km/h while being pursued by officers, as well as mounting a median strip and crossing into the path of oncoming cars.

Pollard is charged with intentionally causing serious injury to a female officer and intentionally causing injury to another officer.

She was also allegedly driving without a licence and has been charged with committing offences while on bail.

Pollard was remanded in custody and is due back in court on March 24.
