HYDERABAD: A lecturer at a private college committed suicide by hanging at her residence on Saturday. Police said that the victim, Poornima, was facing marital disputes and that she and her husband, Kashi, used to quarrel frequently.
On Friday, the victim and her husband got into an argument after the husband said that he was going out of station. The victim’s son later found the woman hanging from the ceiling. A case was registered under section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC based on a plaint lodged by the victim’s parents against their son-in-law.
