A woman dumped her abusive ex boyfriend before finding a chilling note with dimensions for her coffin.
The woman shared the creepy post online after finding a small piece of paper in her ex's toolbox.
She described how the note was titled 'vacation plans' with a drawing of what looks exactly like a coffin underneath.
The coffin appears to be annotated with dimensions and measurements that fit her body.
Captioning her post, she said: “I left my abusive partner and found this post-it note in his toolbox that details his plans for a coffin that he labels ‘vacation plans'.
“It matches my measurements.”
The note was even found with a smiley face etched at the top, with numerous panels showing individual measurements and how they would slot together.
Notes continue to describe the width of the coffin as 28 inches and the height as 23 inches.
The woman chillingly said the dimensions would be big enough to fit her body inside - worried this was the plan on a so-called 'vacation' trip.
She found the note while going through her ex's belongings before returning them to a friend.
Thousands viewed and commented on the post, saying the find was "literally terrifying".
One Reddit user said: "Not sure what makes this ‘oddly terrifying’ it’s literally just terrifying."
Another added: “Dodged a bullet. Or in this case a nail in the coffin”.
While a third said: “Am I about to be witness to a murder?”
Other said the woman needed to put measures in place for her own safety, should the man be planning to get back in contact with her.
A user said: “I sincerely hope you’ve taken all precautions to ensure he doesn’t find you,”.
It was not reported on the post if the unidentified woman took her concerns or the note to the police.
