Woman dumbstruck after discovering celebrity photobomb on holiday picture

A woman was left dumbstruck when she realised she had been

photobombed

by a very famous celebrity on her holiday.

And what made Tik Toker Mae Archie freak out after posing for the picture in New York was that she has just been to see an exhibition featuring the man who photobombed her - making everything even more incredible.

Mae had visited the Metropolitan Museum to see The Beatles Let I Play exhibition when she decided to pose in front of a nearby zebra crossing, just like the now legendary British band did in front of Abbey Road, reports The Mirror.

Mae Archie posted her celeb photobomb on TikTok (maebe.later/Instagram)

However, as she posed to look at the camera, one of the original Beatles Sir Paul McCartney decide to cross behind her at exactly the same moment.

Mae who admits she is a huge Beatles fan was so engrossed in getting her own picture taken that she didn't realise Sir Paul had been captured until she went home.

Her Tik Tok video explaining what happened has now gone viral - with more than 52,000 views.

In it, she wrote: "Taking pictures in NYC and realising when I got home, THE Paul McCartney photobombed me."

She then explained in the comments: "Story time: So I just left the MET to see the 'Play it Loud' exhibit and was legit looking at the Beatles set and everything because I love music.

"And I wanted to take a cute photo so I took it on the cross walk but I was facing my mom so I never actually saw Paul until I turned around.

"I made eye contact with him and we stood there for a few seconds and he could tell I was trying to figure out why he looked so familiar.

"And then he winked at me because he knew I knew and then walked away.

"So moral of the story I was dumbstruck and Sir Paul spawns at sidewalks."

Viewers loved her story which has now 9,631 likes.

One commented: "OMG lmao how did you not know."

Another said: "Out of all the spots to photobomb, just like the Abbey Road cover."

A third added: "I would literally lose my mind," while another agreed, adding: "It would be the most incredible story. I would tell it to everyone I know lmao."

A fourth commented: "Are you kidding me????? The Paul McCartney and you just walked right by him?"
