We live in a world where people often pretend to be someone they're not on the internet.
From catfishing unsuspecting love interests to just creating a new persona, you never really know who's who online.
One woman recently got the surprise of her life when she discovered the real identity of the Reddit user she was doing Secret Santa with.
The woman, known only as Shelby, took part in this year's Christmas Reddit gift exchange, but didn't know who she was swapping presents with - until a massive box full of items arrived for her ahead of the big day.
Shelby went to pick her parcels up and was shocked when staff at the FedEx office told her she'd gotten a delivery from Bill Gates.
Yes, the actual Bill Gates.
According to Reddit users, the 64-year-old Microsoft founder takes part in the Reddit gift swap each Christmas and always sends the most incredible things.
In a post on the website, Shelby explained how she found out about her gifts.

She wrote: "It’s Tuesday, December 17 at 10pm and I’m full-force in my getting-ready-for-bed routine.
"I check my phone one last time and I spy an email alert informing me that my RedditGifts Secret Santa package has shipped!
"I call FedEx and ask them to please hold the package at a location between work and my house and plan to collect it later that afternoon."
She continues: "Upon giving the clerk my tracking number, he shouts, 'OH MY GOD! You’re the BILL GATES package!!!!!! We’ve been waiting for you all day. Is this really from Bill Gates, or is it a hoax? Grab a cart because you’re going to need it.' OMG OMG OMG, WHAT.
"I open the box and am immediately struck by a package that is literally lit up with a strand of fairy lights. Wow! I see the infamous Bill Gates letter placard and photo and my stomach flips. THIS JUST HAPPENED."
Shelby goes on to reveal the full list of gifts Bill Gates sent her including books, a Harry Potter Santa hat, earrings, a handmade quilt, a hammock, chocolates and sweets, toys for her cat, a board game, a manuscript copy of The Great Gatsby, a candle, two adult LEGO sets and Twin Peaks merchandise.
However the most wonderful gift of all was the donation he made to the American Heart Association, in honour of Shelby's mother who passed away in March.
Shelby thanked him profusely with a heartwarming message online.
It read: "Bill Gates, you are a blessing.
"This year has been a complete rollercoaster of emotions for me; in March, I lost my mother completely unexpectedly only 10 days before my destination wedding.
"It has been hard to drum up holiday spirit this year, and this has been a zap taser of Christmas cheer. I have felt like I've been on another planet the past few days and I still cannot believe how lucky/cool/honored/all the adjectives I am to have had someone craft such a special and personal set of gifts just for little ol' me.
"And your donation to The American Heart Association in my mom's memory is the most special gift of all. It means more to me than I can express."
