Wrapping presents is certainly not the most straightforward task - from being entangled in the sticky web of sellotape to running through rolls and rolls of wrapping paper - It's a job no one wants.
So some decide to simply chuck their present in a gift bag and call it a day - but a huge problem many face is the giftee can see what's directly inside the bag.
But now, a TikTok star has answered everyone's cries, as she reveals her simple solution in using a gift bag without revealing the contents of the present.
In her video, Ksenia Senn revealed that it is not about using extra materials but using the bag handles themselves to conceal any gifts.
The video has since gone viral all over social media, with over 700,000 views on TikTok.
She first informs her followers that they've 'been using gift bags wrong your entire life'.
Afterwards, she grabs the end of the bags string handles, and pushes them out through the opposite end, repeating this step for both sides.
Once she lifts the bags, she pulls on the strings and the bag is automatically closed.
Many viewers have marvelled at the revelation, with one account stating: "That life hack is amazing".
Whilst another showed immense gratitude, saying: "Thank you, I have a gift I was going to gift to someone then I [saw] your video [and] I did it. Thank you, I'm glad I [saw] this".
But while others admired the quick hack, some claimed they had already known about it, as one questioned: ''So people didn't know that?''
While another added: ''I did that as a kid!''
However, others have stated they simply have no time for the simple hack, with one account saying: ''AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT!''
Another viewer agreed: "I just put tissue around the [gift]".
