Woman divides opinion over reaction to toddler 'hitting her during flight'

Young children can find it difficult to behave on a plane.

It's noisy, difficult to sleep and it can be hard to keep them entertained while stuck in a small cramped space.

One woman recently uploaded a video on TikTok to reveal how she coped with an enthusiastic toddler on a plane - but some people weren't impressed.

Kara Saba was flying from Detroit to Charleston with her new husband while on their honeymoon.

The pair were left in stitches after toddler Adeline, sat in the row behind, kept clutching her arm during their flight.

The child can be seen grabbing her arm from her seat behind, and persistently rubbing and grabbing her.

And Kara clearly didn't mind the interruption - as she filmed herself in hysterics at the toddler's enthusiastic grabs.

The video has been seen a whopping 11.9 million times since she uploaded it to TikTok.

The caption said: "Her name was Adeline and I hope her mom sees this."

Lots of people appreciated her reaction, with one woman commenting: "THANK YOU on behalf of mamas everywhere for being able to find the joy in a situation like this.

"The world needs more of y'all."

Another person added: "Good hearted people, just laughing about it. Love to see it."

A third added: "So many people hate on parents with kids on planes...I love that you just let her be a child."

But others said Kara should have alerted the parent or told the child that they were misbehaving.

One person commented: "No thank you....let the parents know."

A second person commented: "That would be my kid," to which another blasted: "Touching strangers without their permission? Growing up to assault people. Ok."

A third added: "You guys have patience, I'd have whacked that hand away within seconds and she wouldn't have done it again."

But Kara was overwhelmingly flooded with support - and many thanked her for not being a 'Karen'.

One person joked: "You guys are cool people to just laugh it off.

"Glad it was you guys who sat there instead of a Karen or Kyle type people."
