A woman claims she witnessed a man performing a sex act in 'broad daylight' at a cemetery.
The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, was with her friend in the forested area of St Helens Cemetery and Crematorium on Sunday at around 3.50pm.
She said at first she "didn't think anything of the man" who was sat on a wall within the grounds on Rainford Road.

But after getting a closer look she claims she was able to see exactly what he was doing.
The woman told the ECHO: “We were walking up the hill on the left side when out of the corner of my eye I saw an 'oldish man' with white hair, blue coat and blue pants within the forest area sitting on the wall.
“I thought nothing of it at first but it took a second glance to see what he was doing.
“My friend thought he was petting a dog or something but then it took us a second to realise that he was actually sitting on the wall [performing a sex act].
“This was in broad daylight and it made us feel extremely uncomfortable especially since there were families around with children and the fact we looked right at him and he didn't even flinch he just carried on.“
She added: “We spotted him in the distance walking around with his hood up and he kept looking back at us.
“It has really left us feeling disgusting and uncomfortable and I just don't want this to happen to anyone else as what we saw was horrible and especially in the place it occurred it really hasn’t sat well with me.”
The woman said she has reported the incident to police and ‘hopes something can be done.’
Merseyside Police and St Helens Borough Council have been approached for a comment.
