A woman is dead after a boat crash on Sydney's Hawkesbury River.
Emergency services were called to a nearby ramp on Pitt Town Ferry Road at Wilberforce, following reports the boat had crashed into the riverbank shortly after 9pm on Sunday.
Ambulance paramedics treated the woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, but were unable to revive her.
She is yet to be formally identified.
A 38-year-old man sustained minor injuries in the accident and was taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.
The boat has been seized for examination, with an investigation into the circumstance surrounding the incident underway.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
