A woman died in a single-vehicle crash Thurday on the South Side.

Alexus Colon-Finley, 29, was driving a 2016 Nissan Murano about 11:15 p.m. when she struck a curb before entering an intersection in the 1600 block of East Marquette Drive and then struck a tree, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, officials said.

An autopsy released Friday found she died of multiple injuries from the crash and ruled her death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.
