A woman has tragically died after crashing her Mini Cooper on the A9 in Perthshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene between Luncarty and Bankfoot at around 9.20pm on Thursday following reports of a one vehicle smash.
A 55-year-old woman, who was driving the white motor, was sadly pronounced dead a short time later by first responders.
Officers closed the northbound carriageway, outside Newmill Farm, for around five hours to allow for a full accident investigation to take place.
But investigators are now appealing for members of the public who were in the area and who may have dash cam footage to come forward.
Inspector Gregory Burns said: “We are appealing for anyone in the area around the time of the crash to get in touch as you may have information that could assist with our investigation.
“Road users are also asked to check their dash-cam to see if they have footage that could help with enquiries.”
The road reopened at around 2.30am on Friday, November 18.
