A woman has died following a three-vehicle road traffic collision in Newtownards on Wednesday.
Police confirmed the news this morning.
The collision on the Holywood Road was reported at shortly after 3:30pm yesterday afternoon, police say.
The PSNI attended the scene along with other emergency services.
In a statement police said: "The three vehicle collision was reported to police at around 3:35pm on Wednesday afternoon.
"The road was closed for several hours but has now reopened.
"Officers are appealing for anyone who was on the Holywood Road at around 3:35 pm and may have witnessed the collision or captured dash cam footage to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1095 of 14/10/2020."
